CleanGO – Terms of Use
Introduction
Welcome to CleanGO. By using our mobile app, website, or related services in Portugal, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read carefully before booking or providing services through our platform.
Scope of Services
CleanGO provides two types of vehicle cleaning services:
- On-Site Cleaning: performed by independent freelance cleaners at the user’s chosen location.
- Partner Workshops: stationary services delivered by licensed workshops integrated into the CleanGO platform.
All bookings must be made via the CleanGO mobile application or official website.
Users agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and making a booking.
User Accounts
- Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating accounts.
- Accounts are personal; sharing login credentials is prohibited.
- CleanGO reserves the right to suspend accounts in case of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Freelancer Services
- Freelancers operate as independent contractors under Portugal’s Recibos Verdes regime.
- CleanGO is not the employer of freelancers; it provides digital tools, eco-kits, and quality standards only.
- Freelancers are responsible for safety compliance, proper use of certified eco-products, and respecting client property.
Partner Workshops
- Workshops provide services under their own licenses and commercial responsibility.
- CleanGO offers SaaS booking, payment, and feedback tools but is not liable for workshop operational management.
Payments
- Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (MB Way, Multibanco, credit/debit cards).
- Prices may vary according to dynamic pricing (time, location, demand).
- CleanGO’s commission is included in the service price.
- VAT (IVA) at 23% applies where relevant.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Users may cancel a booking up to 1 hour before the scheduled service without penalty.
- If a freelancer or workshop cancels, CleanGO will:
- Attempt a fallback reassignment, or
- Provide a full refund if no reassignment is possible.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours after the scheduled service and will be reviewed within 7 business days.
User Responsibilities
- Users must ensure vehicle accessibility at the agreed time/place.
- CleanGO is not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, or third-party causes.
- Misuse of the platform (harassment, fraud, abuse) may result in account suspension or legal action.
Liability & Claims
- CleanGO acts solely as a digital intermediary and cannot be held liable for direct damages caused by freelancers or workshops.
- Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, with photographic evidence.
- CleanGO will review claims and may mediate between the user and service provider; liability decisions remain case-specific.
- CleanGO maintains civil liability insurance as required under Portuguese law
Data Protection & Privacy
- CleanGO processes personal data in compliance with GDPR and Lei n.º 58/2019 (Portugal).
- User data (location, payment logs, service photos) is encrypted (TLS 1.3, AES-256).
- Users may exercise rights of access, rectification, and deletion as per GDPR.

Intellectual Property
- All content, branding, and software of CleanGO remain the property of CleanGO Lda.
- Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or misuse of the platform is prohibited.
Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
- In case of dispute, parties shall first seek amicable resolution via CleanGO’s customer support.
- If unresolved, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Lisbon courts.
